Cancer runs in my family, and I try to live a healthy, chemical-free lifestyle to the best of my ability. That's my main reason for ordering the Aquasana shower filter.
However, as a man, I have very short hair and don't pay much attention to my skin, so it's hard for me to judge the cosmetic benefits of the filter. One of my good friends, on the other hand, is a woman who pays a lot of attention to her hair and skin. For years, she developed a red, splotchy rash on her skin after showering. The rash was particularly troublesome because it was often visible for an hour or two after showering, and she has a lot of face time with new clients since she works in guest relations.
