How to Attach Countertop Water Filters
It's very easy to attach a countertop water filter to your kitchen faucet. You don't need a plumber, and you usually don't even need any tools (although a wrench may come in handy). To attach most countertop filters, you simply remove the aerator and washer on your faucet, then screw on the faucet diverter that's connected to the filter. The entire installation process takes just a few minutes. When you want filtered water, simply pull the activator button on the faucet diverter.
Note that you should only run cold water through your countertop filter. Hot water may damage the filter.
