The Crystal Quest Thunder 4000C water filter combines reverse osmosis, ultra-filtration, and UV sterilization in one of the most comprehensive home water purifiers available.
From fluoride to pharmaceuticals, contaminants don’t stand a chance against the Thunder 4000C. By forcing water through a semi-permeable membrane, the reverse osmosis filter removes virtually all particles as small as 1/1000 of a micron. (For reference, a human hair is about 200 microns in diameter, and anything smaller than 40 microns is invisible to the human eye.)
The Thunder 4000C utilizes activated carbon as well as copper-zinc REDOX media to produce ultra-filtered, pure water. Its ultraviolet (UV) sterilizer lamp kills 99.99% of pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, protozoa.
Additionally, this cutting-edge water filter comes with a mineralizer cartridge that restores healthy minerals to the water. Standard reverse osmosis systems remove trace minerals as well as contaminants, producing unnatural, unhealthy, acidic water. Stage 10: The water flows through another 1-micron filtration pad to remove silt, cysts, rust, dirt, and other undissolved particles.
Stage 11: The water passes through another block of GAC.
Stage 12: The water passes through a final 1-micron filtration pad.
Stage 13: An ultraviolet (UV) sterilizer system kills 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, and protozoa without adding any harmful chemicals to your water. The hard glass germicidal lamp is enclosed in a stainless steel housing and plugs into a standard electrical outlet.
Stage 14: The water travels through a final ultra-filtration membrane to remove any remaining proteins.
Finally, the Mineralizer Cartridge remineralizes the water with natural minerals including calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium.
