The Crystal Quest Whole House Water Filter combines 3 filter cartridges to create 8 stages of filtration. This comprehensive whole house filter system will provide 160,000 gallons of pure, healthy water to every faucet in your home.

How the Crystal Quest Whole House Water Filter Works

Stage 1: A sediment filter cartridge removes sediment, silt, sand, and dirt.

Stage 2: A 1-micron pre-filter pad removes particulate matter including parasites.

Stage 3: Granulated activated carbon (GAC) removes chlorine, chlorination byproducts, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), other synthetic chemicals, and foul odors and tastes. Carbon is very porous and provides a large surface area for the adsorption of contaminants. Made from high-grade coconut shell carbon.

Stage 4: An ion exchange resin eliminates heavy metals like lead, copper, and aluminum, as well as water hardness.

Stages 5 and 6: KDF55 and KDF85 REDOX media remove over 99% of chlorine as well as heavy metals. The KDF media also inhibits the growth of bacteria and other microbes throughout the filter system.

Stage 7: Another 1-micron filter pad removes ay remaining particulate matter.

Stage 8: A solid carbon block filter removes remaining synthetic chemicals, including VOCs, pesticides, and industrial solvents.
